The first things you need to understand if you are serious about reuniting with your ex is the importance of being happy again. I know it’s really hard to be happy now that you and your ex are broken up. In fact, you might be in one of the most unhappy periods of your life.
I know when I broke up with my ex, it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to go through. But the one big realization I had throughout my own post-breakup craziness, was you need to attract them back, not just get them back. This means arousing those emotions and feelings your ex once felt for you when the two of you first started to date. In order to do this, you need to be attractive again. In order to be attractive again, you need to be happy, fun, carefree individual that you ask first fell for. Right now it’s really hard to be that person. You are lonely, depressed, stressed out, confused, and the one person that could take it all away left. So I know exactly how hard it is to be happy at this point.
The one thing you need to do is just take baby steps. Don’t think that you’re going to be Mr. sunshine by tomorrow. This simply won’t happen. You’ve been through one of the most devastating experiences in your life, so it would be unrealistic to think that you’re going to feel amazing in such a short period of time.
Instead of focusing your time and energy on being Mr. happy, just try to be less sad each and every day. Maybe today you feel horrible and think the world is going to end completely, but if you can get to the point where tomorrow you sort of feel like the world is going to and, then you’re making progress.
Again, it’s all about baby steps. If you slowly work to feel better each and every day, those days are going to add up, and you are eventually going to feel a lot better. You are eventually going to get to a point where you’ll be back to your normal self again. When this happens then you have a great foundation to work with to get your ex back.
There are other ways for you to feel less worse each and every day. I highly recommend you watch comedy movies during this time of your life. I know a lot of people talk about going to the gym and being with your friends and family during this time, but there is guaranteed laughter if you watch a really good movie. Laughter is one of the most important things you can do right now.
The power of laughter is one of most underrated activities to do when you feel bad. It can relieve your stress and take away your pain like no other medicine. That’s why watching comedy movies can be one of the best things you can do. It will allow you to laugh your face off each and every day. Again, all of this will add up over time and will eventually feel great.
